• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Questions on the SENA SMH-10 Bluetooth Headset.

I just bought the SENA SMH-10 Bluetooth Headset, dual pack. I have them installed and as we're hanging out in the house, wearing them, because it's too cold (too much snow, too) outside to ride, we hear lots of static. Sounds like frying bacon. Any idea why and how can I get rid of it?

I suggested we drive around in the car, with the windows down, to try them out but she wanted nothing to do with that! Women... go figure!

Sounds to me like you have a source of RFI (radio frequncy interference) somewhere in the house. Fluorescent light ballasts, electric motors, and arcing connections are common sources. Other transmitters, such as baby monitors, cordless phones, WiFi routers, and illegal radio transmitters can do it, as can nearby high tension wires. Try them outside or in different locations in the house, or even somewhere else, like the mall parking lot, and see it they get better. If so it is probably interference, if not, contact the manufacturer about the problem. Yopu might have faulty units or need to set them up differently.

Have to agree with Scotty as we have had ours for a couple of years and have had no problems with static when out riding. I really love the Sena's!:thumbup:

I agree, the only time we have static with ours is from bike to bike with one of them getting out of range. They are usually pretty much out of site at that point too.
