• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As I don't have an RT or keep up on those, I am not sure if that is a deal or not. But many will chime in I am sure. But I wanted to say :welcome:

SE-5 or SM-5? Either way doesn't sound bad... retail is usually in the $20000... mught be a demo with many miles on it. Call them and ask away!

:welcome:

I just bought one of these leftover zero mile 2010 RT's (mine was an A&C model). Pending if it is SE5 or not, it seems to be inline with what I have researched ($19,000 to 20,000 for RT-AC SE5 -- good deal, but they are out there if you look long enough). I typically have watched the SE5's go for $1000 to 1200 more than the SM trans. I drove 320 miles to get mine because of the deal.

Good Luck :2thumbs:

Edit : BTW those are out the door prices above

:welcome: Need More info on the 2010 :popcorn:Also what did you pay for your 09, that might give you some idea as to the 2010.:dontknow:

:welcome: As was said, it depends on the model of RT in question, and the transmission. Go by the discount from the MSRP for that particular combination. It also depends on whether that price is "out-the-door" or there are a number of extra charges such as freight and prep, as well as TL&T. If the price is for a base 2010 RT-SM5, plus dealer charges and TL&T, I think they can do better. If that is out-the-door, and/or for an upgraded model, it could be a bargain.

Bought the son's 2010 SR SM5 two weeks ago $20008.00, tax, title, tags and Best warranty out the door.

THANK YOU EVERYONE

Have you tried DaSilva's in Hampstead NH or Route 3A Motorsports in Chelmsford, MA?

Several members on here have good things to say about DaSilva's. I considered buying from them but actually found the one I wanted in the showroom at Route 3A. They gave me a great deal.

I only had to take mine in once so far for service, everything was done on time and correctly. All the salespeople are really friendly!

Hmmmmmm, I guess people strike each other in different ways. I went to DaSilva Motors and got nowhere. I wanted early spring servicing. They didn't want to see my Spyder until they were all done with snowmobiles. Maybe "May". MAY, I said??? Are you kidding?? Well, it seems they weren't. I just didn't get a good feeling from them at all. I know they do Jamie and Dee's Spyders there. Their reception has been completely different than mine. As I say, I think people strike each other differently. I just didn't hit it off at DaSilva at all.

I ended up taking my Spyder to the NH dealer furthest away from me. Freedom Cycle in Concord, NH. They have been nothing but friendly, accommodating, and just all around enthusiastic to have my business. So, that's where I brought my Spyder this spring for servicing.

I think it odd that there are so many Spyder dealers in southern NH competing against each other for business. No one dealer stands out as the top place to go. Bickford's in Epsom dropped the Spyder from their line up. Just not enough business. As I say, too many dealers competing against each other. No one dealer stands out.

Anyway, Freedom Cycle has been great. I've no complaints. Granted, haven't got my Spyder back yet. But, I have no reason not to expect everything will be just how I want it.
