• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question regarding Ipod connection

I never do. If it draws a little juice to keep the battery charged, it has to be a very small amount. Unless you don't drive it for weeks at a time I'd not worry about it.

Always leave IPod plugged in.

We always leave our IPod plugged in our 2012 Spyder RT Limited. I also use a trickle charger to keep my battery charged and ready to go. I just have a battery tender trickle charger with a car charger adapter to plug into my RT "hot" 12 volt outlet in the rear storage area -- works great -- no worries about any battery drain. :2thumbs:

If you're riding your bike every couple of days; it's no problem to leave it plugged in.
(Mine has been in place since I got the little "Saltine cracker" for Christmas, 2011...
