• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

question on rts recall

G;day everybody, first of all,a few days ago i wrote about my first country run on the rt and how dissappointed i was with the handling and the preformance of the bike. A few of you guys responded to my calls for help and told me how to fix the problems. My wife and i would like to thank you all for taking the time to give us advice. Down here in West Australia we know that we are on our own when it comes to the spyder. The dealers know nothing but also appear to be not interested in learning anything. They certainly know how to sell you the bike and they know how to service it but when it comes to problems or accessories, they are useless! Which now brings me to my question, is there a clutch recall and a dps recall on my rts? Dose Can Am get in touch with me or do i have to approach them?

Hi Mate

There is a recall just been issued here in Australia on RS and RT for the DPS and you need to contact your dealer and they will book you in when they receive the replacement DPS unit. The Spyders that were most affected are the RS they have not found any issues with the RT but will change DPS in all models for safety messures only. Hope this helps
