• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question on Givi Mounting Bracket for V35 Bags...

Would mounting backets for the R35 hard saddlebags taken off of a 2014 RSS work on a 2013 STS? Also, if I bought the V35 bags separate from Givi would it work? As I understand the R35 bags from the BRP kit and the Givi V35 bags are essentially the same.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know about the mounts but the R35 & V35 are the same. I have a set of each that I will be putting on our F3's.

As fencepost stated the bags are the same.

The Givi mounting frame will fit an RSS or ST - I have one on my RS and I know another rider who has the same frame on his ST.

The Givi and Can-am mounting frames are different from each other. Not sure if the Can-am one is universal or not, I suspect it is.

PS It appears Givi may have stopped making the mounting frame for the Spyders.

Others have posted about doing the same thing as you before. The problem is will you get all the parts. In particular all the internal mounting brackets. It seems normal for these to be left behind on the donor Spyder. Look at item 46, 47 they are $70 each. Items 42, 44, 53 and 54 are $60 each. Also not shown are the signal lights extension stalks. They have to be $100 or more each. If you have to start buying any of these parts. Your cheap bags get real expensive fast. So do an inventory and if everything is there and complete. You may have a deal.

Here is a picture of the used mount I am looking at. I think this includes everything?
