• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

question on air intake

on the 13 rt/s right under the mirrors there is a intake on each side, but for some reason they have a air deflector just under the mirror. if the deflectors are removed do you thing it will improve air flow to the motor to help cool it

Removing the deflectors in front of the vents or turning adjustable deflectors to the middle position does pull heat out of theents by venturi action (at speed) on the 2010-2012. I see no reason it would not do so on the 2013. Air flow within the body of the 2013 has changed, though, so it may not vent as well as the earlier models...or it could even vent better. Hold your hand over the vent while moving and gauge the heat and air flow. Then remove the deflector and try again. That should tell you the answer and will cost you nothing. Be aware that the hot air is going to flow over your knees and thighs.

I have been leaving the "adjustables", in the center position. I've not noticed any extra heat coming out of the vents, but the high-speed airflow would make it tough to dudge...

I also have the adjustables and love them, it allows you to direct fresh air back to the driver and passenger.

BRP adjustable Air Wings

bob where did you get them please let me know

The BRP adjustable air wings are rather attractive. When you purchase them you can install them your self. All you need is the correct Torx size an a quarter inch drive socket and a medium length extension. The existing fasteners are quite tight as they have self locking goop on the threads.

When you try them the first time you will think "why did I spend the bucks?" But they do work just not at slow speeds. That has been my perception of their functionality! You will find out that you cannot adjust them safely while in motion.

Adjusting them takes a little bit of technique. :yikes: You have to either lift them up, or direct them downward as you move them in or out...
...And I NEVER remember which direction to tug on them! :gaah: nojoke
