• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I’m changing out the front tires from the stock Kenda’s to the Kumho’s that are a slightly different size as far as height goes. My question is - will this throw off my speedometer or mess with my abs brakes ..?
Thank you for any input or opinions.

No, it won't make any difference. The ABS, VSS, EBD, etc are more than capable of handling a tiny change like that!!

I don't have access to my service manual at the moment so I don't know if there is a speed sensor in the transmission or not. But the sensors that are on all three wheels are used for inputs to the VSS and ABS and have no input to displaying vehicle speed. The speedometer is part of the cluster and all inputs into it are digital or voltage hi and low. Wheel speed isn't measured. That's why real speed vs speedo indicated speed goes up when the rear tire is changed to a larger diameter.

Only the rear wheel has the sensor .... and no one has had ANY issues with a different rear tire size .... So it has nothing to do with any size front tire ..... Mike
