• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for the more experienced Spyder owners.

I was on the freeway today going 70 mph in 5th on my STS-SE5. I accelerated at that point to 85 mph. There was a shutter at about 78/79 mph and it went away at 80 mph. It did it everytime I accelerated quickly to the mid 80's from 70 mph. If I slowly accelerated to the mid 80's it didn't shutter. So I'm guessing it's belt related but I'm not sure, and even if it is, is there anything I can do about it. It's kind of unnerving at that speed. I'm guessing it's just one of the idiosyncrasies I will have to learn to live with. I just want to make sure nothing dire is around the corner, so to speak. Thank you for your time to all that respond.

There is a point in the upper rev range where things get a bit buzzy for a couple of mph... It'll come and go consistently. If you notice a change in how it manifests itself; that would be a good time to have the dealer check the belt tension and alignment.

Relax a bit..!!

there are many vibrations at high speeds. Harmonic and winds/crosswinds, road conditions etc. Inclines and declines and loads. Watch it and see if it changes with the surroundings, check the belt tension but unless you have engine shutter or handling issues you should be alright...
