Do a large majority of the hand cuffs used use the same key?

I ask not b/c I've been cuffed before or have any intentions to be cuffed, except maybe by a dominatrix, but this popped up when I was on a Jeep forum:

I think they're all the same. I never had trouble unlocking cuffs that had been applied by other LEOs.

All the same. I still cary my cuff key on my key ring. Not like TV, I never cuffed anyone in the front. Cuff behind and seatbelt.

yes they are all the same, i was never a cop, but hung out with a lot of them and i had a key
