question for go pro wizards

I just received the helmet front mount assy.; but, there was no adhesive mount included. I did contact go pro and am awaiting an answer. It just seems a little strange that they sell the front mount assy. with no attachment for the helmet or at least say it needs to be purchased separately.

Has someone else purchased this assy. that did receive an adhesive mount?

If I remember right it did have the tape on it when I got it. Don't remember having to put that on myself. :dontknow:

I contacted go pro and they said it does not come with an asdhesive mount; if I wanted one I'd have to buy a package of them. I left it at that.

But, it does seem kind of stupid to sell a helmet mount without the actual attachment. JMO of course.

You misunderstood me. I'm just saying that when I order something like the 'Helmet Front Mount', I expect it to come with the piece to mount it to the helmet; in this case an adhesive backed mount. It did not come with any piece to mount to a helmet. And, like I have already mentioned to go pro customer support, go pro needs to mention up front when an order is placed for the Helmet Front Mount that you must order the adhesive backed mount separately.

I guess I didn't read that right. You're right it should come with the mounting plate, if not they should tell you to order that separately. That's like buying a printer only to find out later that you have to buy the cable to make it print. :gaah:
