There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Question for 2013 RT ONLY

I have had an issue from the beginning about my 2013 RT S pulling to the right. Ball Joint's Replaced, Stabilizer Bar Replaced, Shocks Replaced, Alignment and Sensor Done and today tires rotated. Still pulls to the right. I can't let go long enough to grab a water bottle to open to take a drink. I've talked to 2012 owners and no problem. Today I was told that is the way with the 2013's with the new front ends. I would like to hear from other 2013 RT owners on what happens when on a freeway on cruise and you let go of the grips.

Our 13' tracks

straight as an arrow. Couple things to check:

1. Tire pressure, and are both sides equal?
2. How aggressive is the pavement "crown" in the lanes you are traveling?

Something is wrong. Don't let anyone tell you "that is the way they are supposed to be", or "they are all like that". :spyder2:'s are not supposed to track to the right.

Please keep us posted.

When you say you had alignment done what kind? BRP or Outlaw. That being said mine is not bad (not great) tracking under 60mph but above it takes a firm grip to keep it going where I want it to. I am hoping to get an Outlaw alignment done ASAP. Problem is the nearest they are coming to me is 187 mi at the end of Nov and it may just be too cold for me to ride 360mi + RT if the weather keeps up like it is.

Initially my 2013 RT has a strong pull to the right. Ball joints replaced before delivery and later got my dealer to align it. Still pulled to the right. Took it to another dealer and asked them to align it even if I had to pay. They aligned under warranty and it still pulled. Finally I called BRP and opened up a case file. Got back with my original dealer and they worked with BRP to correct it. They replaced the tie rods, new front tires(both shot at 1800 miles), aligned the engine and performed another alignment on the bike. Now the bike doesn't pull. Drove for another 1000 plus miles and still not happy with the way it drives on the interstate. Dealer replaced the front shocks, no help. I got the outlaw alignment and am still not happy with the way it drives. If it's not windy or the road surface is smooth, it's not too bad. Other than that I like the bike. So far I have 3400 miles on my bike.

"They all do that." is dealer speak for: "I don't have a decent technician and we haven't a clue how to properly maintain these things . . . but we got your money, and that is what counts." Find a new dealer. My RT tracks like it is on rails, and has since day 1. If on seriously a crowned road, however, it will pull right.

Go to another dealer. Not saying they are lying, but after all the replacement done, and then come to tell you that is the way the 13's handle is bull:cus:.

Mine always pulled to the right until a Lamonster alignment straightened me out! Now I roll straight and true. The new alignment system is really a must have.

I have a 2013 RT Limited and it doesn't pull, runs hotter than my 2010RT, but might be the break in oil that is in it. I wouldn't buy that explanation for one minute

I've got the exact same Spyder as you right down to the color. The only issue I have is that it likes to dart on back roads which are usually tar and stone roads. On normal roads and highways, it is straight and true. I've got 4500 miles on it as of right now. My neighbor has a 2012 and the handling is definitely better with the new front end. It sounds like your dealer needs to get educated on the product he sells.

2013 have new frame this is probably the culprit. By the way I will not even for a second will do "look ma no hands" It might be the last.:hun::hun::hun:

Your Spyder should not pull, it should naturally want to go straight. If it does not, something is wrong. I think other posters have established that.

Your #1 problem is your dealer.
Your #2 problem is your Spyder pulls to one side.

Fix problem #1 and you will get problem #2 fixed.

If you did not get a laser alignment then you did not get an alignment. I hate to say this but it is painfully true. I've done both on my Spyder and there is no comparison. If it isn't a properly done laser alignment you're wasting your time and your money.

Also, there are some cheats for problem Spyders that Lamont has worked out. A very few Spyders are able to resist the Laser magic and they need special treatment. If your Laser alignment person does not know these tricks they may not be able to get a problem Spyder to go straight.

It could be a bad shock. It could be bad ball joints, etc., that your dealer SAID they replaced.... I know, I'm a cinic... But I've come about it honestly.

Don't give up and don't take anything as true unless you can verify it. You will be very happy once you get your Spyder going straight.

Good luck!

mine goes straight for the most part

i have not experienced the bike pulling other then when being passed or windy.

but today i tryed braking without holding tight on the bars and i do have a pull to the right, but my brakes are squilling and the rotter is damaged so i think that is the problem (of course i didnt brake hard Im not crazy):p
