• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question about the RT comfort seat.

Seating position is a little better for the driver. The comfort seat gives a little better support than the OEM seat--which I feel is "squishy". After 50 miles I am all done on the OEM seat.

I have a Corbin with driver backrest on my 2010 RT-S and we have installed the Comfort seat on the 2011 RT A & C.

With my back and hip issues--I currently like the ryde on the Comfort seat best. When I can steal akspyderlady's bike for a ryde--that is. :roflblack:

I think that BRP offers a different back rest if desired to go with the comfort seat.

Does the "comfort" seat come with a different backrest for the passenger? Or does it just use the stock backrest?? :dontknow:

All you get is the seat itself, no back rest.
You can separately order a backrest to color match with your seat if you buy a seat of a different color.

Here are some pics showing the difference between comfort VS regular seat.
(Identical tools are placed on both seats to show the lumbar support height)

...Ben...
