Question about the add on rear outter LED trunk light

I have the 2012 RT-S. I'm thinking about adding the rear LED light that attaches to the upper section of the rear outter trunk. I think I would like to be more visable while riding.

Question:
1/ Is there a after market one that acts as a rear driving light and also acts as a brake light (combo unit) ?
2/ Any idea as to who sells these at a resonable price?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I like the one from Custom Dynamics "LED RT HMT BRAKE LIGHT". This is a very high quality products.

I am using it with the following backoff module. The light bar comes on and flashes with the brake light.

Just remember that if you plan on putting a rack on the back trunk you will not be able to see that light............... the only rear Running/Brake light that i know of is Tricleds 3rd& 4th brakelight.

I have it, looks great, works great, ez to install. Does not interfere with the brake light at all.

If you are using the Custom World Rack the TricLED light bar works fine and you can see it all the time.
If using something similar to the Show Chrome Rack, you can not see the light if you have luggage on it. The rest of the time you can see it just fine. We have sold them to people using both.
We have the Custom World Rack on ours with the TricLED Top Running Brake light installed and looks and works great.
The 3rd and 4th running / brake lights work great also and look nice along with the top light giving you a lot of rear light.

The Custom Dynamics/ESI HMT light will work that way if you also puchase the conversion harness that allows it to also function as a running light. I don't recommend using the third light as both...the concept of the third brake light is to suddenly command attention by having a light suddnly appear where there was none before. that is how automotive third brake lights work, and how I have set up my Spyder. For additional running lights that offer rear visibility, I would recommend the Custom Dynamics/ESI Mudflap Lights or a single LED strip mounted at the bottom of the trunk lid.

That's kinda what I have: one is upside down...don't know how to fix that! Sorry
