• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question about purchase of my spyder

Loaners and test drives...

My dealer has and sells demo bikes all the time. Each time my ST-L has been in the shop, I am provided a loaner bike to use until mine is ready. I have had RSS, ST, and RT loaners. When I sometimes request a specific loaner (I really liked the RT Limited) they will inform me that they sold it. I have seen the demo models on their sales floor marked as a demo model for sale...and the price is a couple thousand less than the floor model bikes. These demo models are also used for their test drives when a prospective customer wants to try them out. All of the demo models I have seen are under the break in mileage and have been driven at least a little by newbie drivers...but the bikes DO have scrapes and scuffs (all minor) due to someone's carelessness. They are all still under warranty, however. May be a great way for someone to get into a new Spyder and save a couple thousand...but Caveat Emptor (let the.buyer beware).

Thanks for your advice

My dealer told me that once a unit is designated as a demo unit, it cannot be sold for 90 days.:dontknow:
