• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question About LaMonster's Amerseal

My e-mail has been on the fritz so, although I sent LaMonster an e-mail, I may not have been able to receive any response that he might have sent me. So, I thought I'd ask my question here....

I just received my order of Amerseal. (I've never used the product
before.) In reading the directions on the side of the bottle:

Item#3 says "Install hand pump into container", and
Item#4 says "Pump in the sealant".

Can anyone tell me exactly where this "hand pump" is? (I didn't get one with the order....). The
container does say "Installation Kit Under Cap", so I looked and found only a rubber
tube and a threaded attachment of some sort.

Am I missing something? (I know that I can be slow sometimes.....)

Thanks!

The kit consists of a valve core removal tool and a tube (the pump is for the larger containers). Use the back side of the threaded thing to remove the valve core (prop the spyder up so the deflation does not flatten your tire and, possibly, lose the bead). Shove one end of the tube over the valve stem and the other over the cut end of the bottle (careful on the size of the cut, needs to fit inside the tube). Then gently squeeze the right amount into each tire. Talking with Jacob, you want to go light .... so you might give Lamonster Garage a call to find the correct dosage. Too much and you may find it "balls up" causing serious shaking ... too little and it won't do it's job when needed.

Good luck .... Ann
