• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Complaints seem to be going down which is GREAT! What things would you like to see fixed or improved in 2012 on the RT? I'll throw some things out that are only the result of my reading posts. These are just a few observations.
Those with seat of the pants experience chime in.

More power/ bigger engine
Improved DPS steering sensor
improved paint quality
Multifunctional blue tooth capable built in communications system standard
Increased alternator output and more switched outlets
Better heat management

I don't have any complaints. The 2011 RT is better than the 2010, and is close to the mark. All vehicles have room for improvement, though, so here is my wish list.

1. More engine torque at lower rpm.
2. Better turn signal cancel
3. Better brakes...more weather resistant and stronger, for trailer use
4. Increased electrical output
5. Factory Powerlet outlets installed
6. Separate comm system from CB
7. Comm system standard equipment on RTS & LTD
8. Better access to coolant tank
9. Increase clutch lever travel...too "sudden"

Better turn signal cancelling !!!! To late now but the ability to order Chrome or other BRP accessories installed from the factory as you would order for a car .Bluetooth everything.

Gret list Scotty. :2thumbs:
I'd be interested in:
more torque at lower rpms
improved turn signal cancelling
more electrical ouput.
An overall improvement in the quality and functioning of the stereo. (Could somebody at BRP go rent a Gold Wing for a week?):gaah:

LOVE many suggested... Just adding... In no order at all...

  1. 3rd brake light similar to HMT (Or pay them the $$ to own it and use it)
  2. Handbrake a Factory option
  3. Better Blinker system
  4. Stronger Brakes
  5. 1100cc+ Engine
  6. Factory option Heated Seat (More of us drive these all year than they think)
  7. Drivers side storage to equal the passenger side!!!!!
  8. Adjustable driver pegs!!!! (Like the passengers are adjustable... not size, but the adjustabilty)
  9. Belt tensioner, Factory
  10. Belt Guard, Factory
  11. Side markers to also be DOT LED's Factory

I thought my turn signal was just a quirk on my RT. It's frustrating going down a straight road signaling left and right over and over just trying to turn it off after having made a lane change.

The right saddlebag holds a full-face helmet laid on its side. I have not found one that would not fit, but I have not tried XXL. The front trunk holds every helmet I have ever tried, also. Beyond that there are helmet hooks under the seat.
