• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Putting it back together...

I went home over lunch today mad and determined to make this work, and I did. First, it is indeed a tricky piece to put in place properly because of the front sections that go in beside the passenger grab rails.

I put the left front side in place (without screws), then wrestled with the center section. The two lower-center tabs go in from as above as was obvious, but I was previously unsure as to how to handle the top tab, it really didn't look like it should go in from above .. but it did.

I got all three tabs in place using a downward motion on the body panel, put a single screw in to hold it in place, then wrestled the right side in beside the passenger grab rail, then screwed it all in. It works as well as ever.

Thanks to all the advice I got. Duct tape was appearing to be a pretty reasonable option, but this was better.

In my next life, I plan to be rich enough that I just pay for work like this!

I wish I had some answers for you. Hope you get the fault corrected so you can continue to enjoy the ryding season. I do have one question for you. You stated that you just installed your trailer hitch. Any chance you still have the instruction for the hitch installation? Just got one off ebay but no instructions. I'd really appreciate any help you might share.

I did the same thing with the same results. Finally remembered the little tab next to the latch on top of the plastic. Tucked it in, on fourth removal and reinstall, and it worked perfectly.
