Put some additional tail lights on the F3

Had some LEDs from my son's Honda 1000 and a set of 8" C.D. Plasma Rods that were going on the wife's '14 StreetGlide. Had all day to kill while waiting for the 20" Madstad to show up (out for delivery at 08:00 and he pulled up in front of the house at 19:05!).
The Honda tail light are now being used as running lights and the plasma rods are brake/turn. Made a template of the LED board, transferred it to the inner fender, drilled the hole pattern, and super-glued the LEDs to the fender. Cut two slots just wide enough for the lens on the Plasma Rods, mounted from the inside of the inner fender, and ran a bead of black RTV around them to hold them in place.
Oh, and got the windshield on in about an hour and took it out for a test drive (about 75 MPH on the autobahn). First impression is it is fantastic! 20" dark tint. Didn't get a picture. Looks good with the white plastic body panels.

Will try to remember to get one Saturday. On the road Monday-Friday. Went to the North Georgia mountains with my SCRC group. Rode 617 miles with the Madstad and it was great! The only issue that I see is the two bolts that hold the base plate right above the instrument cluster are rubbing on the cluster when I hit about 70 mph. will look at adding some plastic washers to raise the plate slightly.
