Put an ISCI Hand brake on my RTL - works very well.

I put an ISCI hand brake on my 2020 RTL. It was not bad to put on, and it works great, Of course, you have more braking with the foot, but the hand brake works very well.

I suppose the handbrake would work fine when scrubbing off a little speed before and on curves. Can you explain where and how you use the brake? I sure would like something on that right handlebar to grab.

I put one on mine and posted about it. Using the hand/foot together makes it a lot easier. The lever is pretty large and you need a good grip, but it is just as powerful as the foot pedal if you have the grip strength. It's also great for cancelling the Cruise Control, or giving drivers behind you a few "flashes" of the brake light when slowing to a stop.

Is it worth it? The jury is out on this one!
I waited over 2 months for it to come from ISCI. Parts quality is good; Mounting Instructions, Not so much!
It looks like a very good build quality, though the Hand brake lever/reservoir is a Drag Specialties 0610-2202. I got this for the wife because she has problems using the foot brake. This brake lever is HUGE and the action to actually apply the brake take a bit of muscle. Of course it's a lot easier to squeeze when you're also "helping" it while applying the foot brake.
Now, it took me about 2 full weekends. Not for the faint of heart and...
