• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As much as I like Len and consider him a friend, I would try your local dealers before heading out far to Springfield, MO. I know he will treat you well, but there are a few dealers that are as good as Pitbull Powersports. Trust your gut, and look for local references before you decide. If you feel that you can travel all that way for a good deal, go for it! BUT... if you are not much of a hands on person (and if this is your first motorcycle or even first :spyder2: experience), you might want to consider dealing with your nearest dealer provided that you have made your research about it.

Decisions, decisions...:coffee:

OKC Dealer

One is buying a Spyder like buying a car?

Do you have to pay sticker price or do dealers make deals?

The is only dealer in OKC area. Can anyone recommend one close to OKC?

The local dealer in OKC is Jones Offroad. I've been happy with how they treated me so far. Cody is the primary Spyder tech and I've got no complaints about what he's worked on with my ST-S. The only glitch I had with the bike was from the factory (missing clutch over-ride switch). Once Cody and Ron in Parts got the info from Can-Am they got it taken care of. I haven't seen much other traffic from other OKC owners here on the Spyderlovers about Jones Offroad though.
