• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Puddle of fluid....uh oh

Decided last weekend to pull the Spyder out of the corner and fire it up. Started right up and all looked good on the guages. I turned around and back where the bike used to be was a puddle about 3 inches across. I wiped it up with a white cloth and the fluid was light pink. I looked under the running Spyder and sure enough there was a fresh drop just under the front side of the engine and just like that it stopped. Not a drop since. I let it run for about 45 minutes...nothing. I took it around town and got it up to temp, stopped and looked a couple of times....nothing. I brought it back home and put in the garage and nothing. I have the 3000 mile service appointment this Friday and will have them look at it but it kind of puzzling. I'm hoping just a dry seal. Any thoughts let me know. Looking fwd to a great season of riding. Thumbs up :2thumbs:

Little checking..l

The new models have a different cooling fluid. Check and see if it is that color. Seems I remember it being on the red side..:dontknow: i use water wetter and water and it is pink...

Remember you sat that drink down that time & it tipped over while you were putting on your gear:lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie: Well it found a exit from the black hole. :2thumbs:

Had a puddle under mine ('14 RTL) this spring. Dealer found a bad seal in the water pump. Fortunately, I got it in early when they weren't real busy. They got the part in, replaced and my Spyder back to me in 10 days. If the puddle is on the right side (sitting on it right side), you may want to take a look at the pump.

AFSpyder - like your avatar. Reminds me of good days in SAC. I started in Titan II's, pumping fuel, cross trained into the command post career field, and flew a tour on Looking Glass as an Airborne Battle Staff member. Good times - a shame they disbanded the best damn command the USAF ever had.
