• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PSI in rear shocks

Questions

New member
I am seeking information on the maxium amount of air the rear shocks are supposed to carry 2014 RT SM6. Any help woulld be appreciated. Thanks.

The pressure label seems to be general advice for the manual suspension does the same apply for the remote system? The manual indicates the on board pump increases/decreases the pressure depending on setting but I would think some about of minimum pressure would need to be set? I have the setting on my Limit in the middle but when measuring the pressure it read 25psi seems low for mid range.

Any input from the experts out there?

The amount of air pressure in the ACS (compressor system) is measured not by the air pressure in the bladder but the ride height measured by the sensor.

The two are linked but the ACS automatically takes into account the actual load and changing road conditions.

So should not care about the psi as measured at the valve?

my tec here in kansas city said 50 psi for two riding and never go higher than 60 psi,i know some of you are using much moore than that but you are also blowing out the blatter ,this is info from another post.an 50 seems right for me.and i dont have the auto pump type i have a standerd rt not rts.so i need to check my air and add when needed.by a pump like for a bycyle.:2thumbs::chat:

The chart that Roger posted is correct.
Your dealer is selling some of the bike's capabilities on the short side... Up to 85 spi on the standard bikes.
