• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lots of discussion about missing the lean. No question after years of leaning throough corners, I miss that feeling. BUT, I do not miss holding my bike up at every traffic signal, searching for the kickstand at every stop, paddling through the left turn at crowded intersection, worrying about every patch of gravel I come accross, wondering how I will fare if and when I have a flat tire, fighting rain slicked roads with about 4" of rubber contact patch and wrestling around 600 lbs when I have to back up. No ride is perfect, but in my opinion, what I gave up is nothing compared to what I gained. Freedom to enjoy the open road with a new sense (but not false sense) of safety.

I've been contemplating the same things since I got mine. I miss the lean a little bit, I really enjoyed 2 wheels. However I don't miss some of the same things. I enjoy not having to put my feet down at the lights, patches of gravel, way more visible now, and since it rains everyday in Florida I certainly feel more stable there.

I'll buy another 2 wheel bike some day. It'll be like dancing now. I go twice a year: Once to bring in the new year, the other to get a little "sweetness" on her birthday.

I mentally operated this machine so much the was really no transition...I don't mind the loss of leaning...I am all over this thing in the corners like stink on rice!
