• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can spell, I just can't type. Spell check sure helps. Plus, I always preview the post before I post it. Even then, I miss a lot. Same mistake twice, I guess. :roflblack:

We would make a great team, I can type but I can't spell. That is why I love computers, they can spell!

Lazy English skills drive me crazy---- the more people text and post -- the worse it seems to get---- the devolution of such skills over the last decade has been very noticeable - even from so-called 'professional' writers in our local paper.
:dontknow:
You can blame our poor English skills on the French, If they didn't come to help us to brake free of Great Britain, We would be now speaking perfect English . :ohyea:

:roflblack:
I guess that we should at least try to get all of the letters in the right places... I know that i'm one of the guiltiest parties in here, so I try to proofread everything before putting it up... :opps:

I guess I would fall into this same group, my problem is I do proof read several times and I still screw it up. My mind tends to fill in the blanks when I type and read so it looks fine to me until I read it later that day or sometimes days later. :opps:

At work when we proofread our own work we read it backwards (read it from the end to the beginning from right to left) for just that same reason.......

brake free ? Said in jest I hope. :gaah:

Apps a loot lee., Didn't take long fore the spelling Poll lease to catch that.:roflblack:

But All kidding aside , Some of the most honest and trustworthy people i've known did not have a high school education, Quite a few even built this Country Some even died defending our Country. Not everyone has the same level of education , For one reason or another .:dontknow:

Like Lamont, sometimes I post something that makes perfect sense to me when I write it and when I proofread it. Then when I read it again later, I can't even figure out what I meant to say. I do proofread my posts, though.

Atfer all, I cna't expcet anoyne to be albe to read sohetming that maeks no cents, can I?

My Dad would type long letters to relatives and friends up to a year before he died (at 92). Many times he would sign off with something like this...

"At my age, I don't type so good so in case I spelled something wrong or missed some punctuation--- abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz .,;:'"?. Feel free to add it in where you need to help it make sense"

Funny guy!
