There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There are Avatars, Profile Pictures, and Signature Pictures... :yikes:
On the Hompage of the forum: take a look at the left-hand side of the screen, up near the top...
You'll see a link for "User CP"
Click on that, and it'll take you to where you can start setting stuff up.
The Avatars show up under your screen name at the left side of each post.
Signature pictures show up at the bottom of each post.
Profile pictures only show up, when somebody takes the time to view your profile.
Please note that it's best to re-size any picture that you want to use in these places.
Avatars are probably best kept to about 230 pixels of width or less...
A profile picture can probably stand to be a little bit larger...
Signature pictures are a bit less fussy, but you don't want their size to be a distraction from what you post.
Examples: My Avatar is from a Uriah Heep album, the Signature pic is the two Spyders, and if you look up my profile, you'll see an ugly dude with a ****-eating grin leaning over the bike!
