• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any chance the odometer switched to Kilometers? 30 miles = 50kms approx

Don't worry, happens to me all the time. one time i went for milk (2 mile trip) odometer said it took 3000 miles there and back. Though, the trip started April 22 and ended on the 29th and I picked up a new cool hoodie and throttle body.:thumbup:

Gee, that was a short diversion. Mine often end up over 100 miles...and an extra tank of gas. I'm sure it is some kind of defect.....but maybe not in the Spyder. :roflblack:

It's not really as much a "defect", as it is a decent case of wanderlust... :thumbup:
I've got spots up here by me that are easily worth a two hour, one-hundred mile detour! :D

It's not uncommon for my 11 mile trip home after work to end up showing 100 miles on the trip-meter!

You'd think I'd forget how to get to work, not how to get home! ;)

scotty-----the way i look at it, it's takes a defect to know a defect!!!!:roflblack::roflblack:

My daily three block (pick up the mail from the mailbox) ends up showing between 50 to 100 miles every time. Most be some defect we don't know or care about. :roflblack:

:roflblack: That makes me feel better! So since mine is obviously a character defect, will I know a character when I meet one? :roflblack:

MY ODOMETER ZONED OUT !!!

I left work last night for home...22 miles.. Odometer read "9988". I'm thinking, Wow 10K when I get home..I'll pay attention to odometer just a little bit...At "9992" (Trip at 104.6) I looked down. A little later looked down, trip at 105.8, odometer at "9992". Ended up going 4 1/2 miles until odometer suddenly realized it and changed to 9996 then rapidly to 9997 then the trip odometer lagged and didn't count at all. It eventually caught up..Or Did It???? Or have I been where I was...or was not! Just think, Maybe that's why were all so young...I have the "Time Machine"..

Hmmm.... I wonder if the odometer issue is because I believe the :spyder2: is a time machine: However, it only goes FORWARD in time and with different distances to the destination.;)
