• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Problem free how long?

2012 RT SE

Might have to sell it if I don't get my yard work done. Its just too much FUN, and I love to ride. Just under 3000 miles with no problems other than me being distracted from work. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE TOMORROW Don't know if they made major changes or not but the 2012 models seem to have less problems than other years. JUST SAYING

11k and going

Over 11k miles full of fun and great memories with friends.. No issues..maintenance and lots of mods

2011 RT-S SM 5, 18 months of fun riding. 25K and the only problem I have was a failure of the gear position sensor, replaced under warranty. I have a service contract with my dealer and I think that regular service is a plus. Routine checks with BUDS keeps up with software updates.

2008 Spyder RS #610 2 years 45,000 miles. Never failed to start, never threw a code. 2008 Spyder #104 1 year 12,000 miles. Throws codes, goes into limp mode, fails to start on occasion. The good news is that I know what to do about it and all of these have been two minute road side fixes.

Picked up our RT-S a week ago, 84 clicks total and the main display goes dead and reboots. To the dealer Monday it goes :yikes: Total 245km today without a functional display. Grrr

2012 RT-S SE5 and 540 miles trouble free except for the tire pressure gauge that was DOA.

I'm glad I kept my Goldwing as the two are very different bikes and I enjoy riding both.

2008 Premiere GS - 31,000+ miles. Original DPS issue - Replaced and good to go.

Replaced all A-Arm bushings and both tie rods (1 bad so replaced both)

Replaced rear wheel bearings

Otherwise, trouble free. Taken 2 trips from East Tennessee to California, 2 trips to Canada, 3 trips to Daytona and other various long distance rides. I'd take it anywhere anytime (if I can get away!)

48,000 Total

15,000 on 2008 SM5, only DPS Recall.
33,000 on 2010 RT, no problems. We will be taking our 4th cross country trip in July on our RT and have no reservations about reliability.:clap:
