Pricy filter for '14 SE Clutch

Looking at fiche on an SE it shows a clutch filter for $105. I hope its something that doesn't have to be changed often.
Can someone with a manual check how long its good for?

Stopped by dealer today and parts guy said clutch filter was good for something like 28K. He also confirmed that '14 oil filter is diff from prev models. Mechanics there are also enthused with '14's.

No, thats the price shown in the fiche. No idea what labor cost will be. Its an enclosed thing....looks a lot like those used in some auto transmissions which contain nothing more than
a nylon screen to catch big stuff. I replaced one in my Toyo Corolla last year and tore old one open and it was still clean inside and this was at 120K miles. Cost was about $15-20 or so!

Bob, loan me the one out of yours.......if you ever get one roflblack::roflblack::joke....and I'll try to match it up with a auto filter. After all, its too cold up your way to ride.

Probably not much steeper than you're paying now if you do the math. If you get it changed every 6000 mi including the 600 mi. thats about 5-6 changes at $15 a filter... thats what maybe $15-20 more? I would stick with BRPs tested filters than try to get the same amount of miles off an automotive filter. Not the machine to pinch pennies on a oil change for IMHO
