• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What would be a fair asking price for a 2009 GS manual shift in excellent condition (10K miles) with saddlebags, touring windshield, backrest and new swaybar ?

In US dollars depending on condition etc a range from $12,500 to $13,500. With the SE5 auto transmission it would be $1,000 more. This would be for top dollar great condition. If a little road weary I would only drop price by $500. There just are not too many used Spyders out there and the new ones are a lot more. My son just sold a 2009 RS SE5 (6,000 miles) with back rest, foot rests and a two brothers exhaust for $14,500. The buyer was happy with the deal.

Price is a difficult item to pinpoint. It can vary from one area to another. Kelly Blue book or other info sites like that can put you in the ballpark.

Accessories are usually worth half or less. If you have ever tried to trade in one motorcycle on another, you have heard the pitch that the accessories are worth virtually nothing.

I recommend looking at our site and see what similar are going for. A couple hundred looks at the ad, and no buyers usually means they are asking to much for the :spyder2: in question. The ones that turn over fast are priced right. The buyers here are pretty knowledgeable and most are not going to bite on what they feel is an overpriced :ani29:.

Wishing you good luck and a quick sale on the :spyder2:.
