• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Premier Edition?

I've been lurking for a while as I consider moving to an RT. I'm now getting pretty serious in my looking, and I've found a new "Premier Edition" at a dealer. My question is, since to my understanding these were the "first" of the RT's, are there any special concerns or problems I need to know about with these before I talk trade with the dealership? I know I should verify that the recalls have been addressed, but anything else? Also, I have some real concerns about reliablity. I've ridden Yamaha and BMW for years, and frankly I take vehicle reliability as a given, however the problems I've seen here mafe me a little concerned. I'm leaving on a two week bike trip starting two weeks from yesterday. I do NOT want to take off on a new $25k machine and find myself and my wife sitting at the side of the road. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!:helpsmilie:

Welcome to the site. No more issues with the PE models than the others. Ask the dealer to check the buds and make sure the recalls have been done before you leave. The spyders are a lot of fun, but nothing like a 2 wheeled machine. Once owners get past that concept, it just gets better.
