Practical difference between '19 and '20+

Good morning everyone!

I have been trying to find a cover for my '21 RTL, but they all seem to be back-ordered.

I can find a cover easily for the pre-20s.

Practically speaking, what is the difference between the two, as it relates to the cover?
I read somewhere that the only thing that matters is the radio antenna is on the left for the 20+, but was on the right for prior years.
Is this true? I can work around it, if so. I just need to find a cover that will work, and I refuse to pay OEM prices.

The covers are completely different because of the design of the rear luggage. However, an F3 cover fits the new RT's just fine because of their similarities.

No, I missed them in my searching. I will call them in the morning. I don't want to make the same mistake and order one that is back ordered again.

Yes, I have been all over Amazon. All the ones that claim to fit the 20+ are "available soon" which I read to mean back ordered.
Those for the F3L or prior to 20 (most) have answered questions stating that it didn't fit the 20 RTL.

To answer your question about "practical differences", the newer RTs are about 4 inches longer. And, as others have mentioned the luggage is configured differently, as is the windshield area.

Not sure how many of these differences are "practical", but I would guess that the older cover just won't fit. :dontknow:

This is the one that I ordered, and it is back ordered.
I ordered both the cover and the back rest, the back rest shipped, but I was notified that the cover was back ordered.

For a half-cover, I've found my old GL1800 half-cover fits just fine!

**Update**

I contacted several retailers, and most told me that the full cover was backordered.

LaMonsterGarage says they have it in stock, so I ordered one this morning.
