• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post of the Day (From Days Gone By)

old post

I've been reading over old tire threads (don't ask me why), and found what I consider to be Today's Old Post of the Day! :firstplace:

...and the Winner is... BLUEKNIGHT911! (Sorry, Mike ;) )

:hun:.....Why are you sorry ????......I'm not :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.............I thought it was funny then and I still think it's funny now......PS folks you need to click on the LINK ( in blue ) above to get it :clap::clap:...........Mike

After reading that again; a thought occurred to me:
If you buy your tire air from a BRP dealer who sells other brands...

...are you SURE that you're not voiding your warranty with "Suzuki Air"? :yikes:

Pounds?!?
Now we have to get British currency involved? :dontknow:
I hope that Geoff or O.J can convert our funds for us!

HOLY SMOLY

:yikes:.....I think this thread could get " EPIC "......rob, you may have started a snowball...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.......Mike

I do believe the statement still hold true today.:yikes: I think some ryders are fearful to pass gas unless outfitted in full BRP Spyder gear.:opps::roflblack:

Not me! :D

But then; I only use "BRP certified" bathroom tissue... :roflblack:

Hot Air

Dealer said they sell it by the can and you can either purchase hot or cold air. Depends on whether you are putting it into a hot or cold tire. Hot air is a lot cheaper because they use so much of it around the dealership.

They probably harvest the hot air from the sales force!! :roflblack::roflblack:

LOL what a difference time makes huh? Definitely an entertaining read.
:agree: ABSOLUTELY! That thread is quite a bit different from today's tire threads, only one year later. There are some gems in it too (from folks like Ron Netzely (rnet) and Ron Athon (BajaRon), who don't usually comment in tire threads anymore. :sour: )

But if you REALLY want to be entertained, go back and read some threads from 3-4 years ago, on any subject. The forum had a whole different personality then. Some folks say it's changed for the worse. But I don't really agree with that. It's just become "different".

It's become more of a social media forum from what it was 6-7 years ago. Some of the disagreements back then used to turn into knock down drag out fights; now they have become little more than cat fights.
