• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

On 10/17/12 while on our trip down Route 66 and PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) we hit the 5000 mark. Trip started in Amarillo, TX rode to San Pedro, CA., then up PCH to San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge to Las Vegas, then through Yosemite and Death Valley across to the Grand Canyon finishing up where we started. Total milage 3500 miles.

Over 5000 mls.

:oldpost:

UPDATE-
I got a note from BRP that they did send my 25K pin out but for whatever reason I never got it, nor did Doc. They also said that they are sending these out every three months. So depending on when you applied for the pin you may get it in a couple of days or you may not see it for three months. That would explain why some have gotten theirs and some haven't.

This pin (if we do it) will be in addition to your BRP mileage pin. :doorag:

I'm going to ask Mark at CAT if he can make me up some SpyderLovers 5K pins. I have no idea on the cost of these and if we can do the 25K pins too but we can send you a 5K pin for every 5K you put on your Spyder. I may have to tie it into a t-shirt sale or something to where if you have over 5K you could request a pin. Maybe give your current mileage when you order from the store. :dontknow:

Anyway that's just a thought on how you can showoff your mileage and promote the club too. I'll let you know if this is a go or not after I talk to Mark. :doorag:

So if you have over 5K please post your mileage here so we can get a starting count production wise.
My Spyder RS 2008, I haved sinces 03/2010 brand new. now w last than 3 years a got (61k mls) no problems, very happy. comuty do school M-F 130 mls round trip for 6 months ( 30 to 33) mls. on I75 to Gainsville,FL. VERY HAPPY.

i just passed my 5000 mile mark this weeken. I got my spider in May and commute daily on it and go for "familiarization rides" on the weekend. My dealer is really squared away and since the Spyder doesn't have any problems I don't have to visit him except for Spyder days at the dealer!

25k pin

No, you fillout the form and send them a picture of your odameter on SpyderRyders. That's how I applied for the pin. Has anyone seen a 25K pin?

Spydercouple here, yes we received our 25k pin this year but now have over 35k. Living in Northern Minnesota it is a little tough to ride more than 6 months a year. We have taken our Spyder around Lake Superior , to Key West, to The Tail of the Dragon. Just a fun ride.

Put 19,500 on my GS before selling it in July. Have just past 5000 miles on my RT-S. If winter is like last year I may get another 3000 miles this winter.

Finally got back to Mo and an oil change at 26,3xx. no problem miles. Only one little one was a very small rock in my sprocket that messed up the belt bad and had it replaced as I couldn't stand the screaming it made( like what you have on the belt of your car scream kind of thing)!! They have 25000 mile pins???

I turned over 5000 miles in August and applied for the 5K pin online in August. I just received my pin yesterday.
