• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

Spydette has 18,095 miles since May 25th 2011, will be looking to buy a new rear tire for the 1st time. Fronts are still looking good, but regular rotation & proper air pressure is the reason for that.

I believe I'm going to design her a patch and then add mileage rockers:thumbup:. Pins are nice but they still seem to fall off even with the set-screw pin holders:banghead:...

speedster,I would be interested in the new pin. Let me know when you get it made and how much. I have 15000 miles on my 08 GS.

Milage

:oldpost:

I'm going to ask Mark at CAT if he can make me up some SpyderLovers 5K pins. I have no idea on the cost of these and if we can do the 25K pins too but we can send you a 5K pin for every 5K you put on your Spyder. I may have to tie it into a t-shirt sale or something to where if you have over 5K you could request a pin. Maybe give your current mileage when you order from the store. :dontknow:

Anyway that's just a thought on how you can showoff your mileage and promote the club too. I'll let you know if this is a go or not after I talk to Mark. :doorag:

So if you have over 5K please post your mileage here so we can get a starting count production wise.
I have about 47,500 mi (not km) on mine:yes:. I got my instrument cluster changed out at Cowtown last year at about 38,500 mi and I have added some 9000mi since. I did not request a pin although BRP should just give me one:clap:. I think there are a couple of people that have more milage than I do but I think I'm pretty close to the max:2thumbs:. I bought my RT in March of 2010.

I had almost 10,000 on my '09 GS before I traded it for an"11 RTS, I presently have 6,500 on the RTS and I recieved my 5K pin last week. I never did put in for one for the GS.

if i hadn't had my cluster replaced i could of posted 1k miles ago but after this weekend i'll be good to go 6months of owning a spyder and i'm like 400 mi away from it. congrats to you and all that have done 5k or better. but don't you need a pic of cluster showing milage so you can get a pin?

ok the trip to houston and back put me over the 5k mark send me my pin...

5K Pin

We have 26,549mi. and no pins from BRP.:yikes::dontknow: Sent in photo of odometer 3yrs ago of so. :doorag: :yes:Pins or not, we are still happy we made the change to the Spyder 3 1/2 yrs ago:2thumbs:

Got My 5K pin yesterday

Submitted my photos about a month ago, 5K Pin came in the mail yesterday.
If anyone else is trying to get their pin, I had my cluster replace so mileage restarted. I took a picture of old cluster when I took it in for warranty replacement, then when I had enough miles to go over 5,000.
Put them both on a Powerpoint slide with explanation of cluster replacement and saved the slide as a jpg and submitted it for the cluster photo.
It worked.

I hit the 5k mark yesterday on my return trip form the Oregon coast on my 2011 RT. I stopped by John's shop in Newburg Oregon and had the grand tour of Seal Floorboards & picked up a set. WOW, what a difference the floorboards make . I ended up staying the night in Lincoln City then returned home to E. Wa. in a 32hr time span I logged right at 800mi.

13,000 Miles!

Just over 13,000 miles after a trip to the Outer Banks from Alabama. RT will be a year old in July..:yikes:

I turned 10,000 the morning I left for SpyderFest in April. I will turn 19,000 miles sometine this week if the rain stops. BTW, my Spyder has the same number of miles:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: It was only possible because I..........

Ride in comfort,

John
