• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

I have 7000 miles on mine - applied for my pin late feb 2009 - still have not received it as of Saturday - was told in an e-mail that I would have my pin by the end of May - will see if it comes in this week. :dontknow:

8200+ miles

I have 8200 miles and put on from 70 to 100+ every day after duty plus more on weekends. I applied for the BRP pin months ago with the photo showing mileage at the time and haven't seen or heard from them. No pin, no letter, no nothing. I'm not upset over the fact that I didn't get a piece of metal for doing something I love (ryding over 5000 miles) but the fact that BRP initiated the recognition-promotion event and didn't follow through with it. It reduces the credibility of BRP and the trust factor.

8,500 miles here.

5,500 of it last summer - 3,000 just from April/May of this year. Should hit 25,000 by this fall.

Have not applied for pin yet ---- but will.

A bit over 8000 now, but leaving next week for a 2000 mile roadtrip to Steamboat Springs. Never been much a "pin" person, so haven't bothered.:coffee:

I turned over 6,000 miles this memorial weekend. I have applied to BRP at the time I hit 5,000, complied with the form and picture, and I have not heard a word nor any acknowledgement that they received my stuff.
I guess, when we all meet in LA, we could have a little chat with the BRP peeps.

I have a little over 9,900 miles should turn 10 thousand this week. No pins, but I didn't apply for them. The new BRP website is too big a pain to use.
