• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

5369 this afternoon

Who knew I could be so excited about racking up miles on my 4 month old baby! expecting to add 600 this weekend and then and then and then.....

Miles

I have 5500 and great idea thanks.

UPDATE- I got a note from BRP that they did send my 25K pin out but for whatever reason I never got it, nor did Doc. They also said that they are sending these out every three months. So depending on when you applied for the pin you may get it in a couple of days or you may not see it for three months. That would explain why some have gotten theirs and some haven't.

This pin (if we do it) will be in addition to your BRP mileage pin. :doorag:

I'm going to ask Mark at CAT if he can make me up some SpyderLovers 5K pins. I have no idea on the cost of these and if we can do the 25K pins too but we can send you a 5K pin for every 5K you put on your Spyder. I may have to tie it into a t-shirt sale or something to where if you have over 5K you could request a pin. Maybe give your current mileage when you order from the store. :dontknow:

Anyway that's just a thought on how you can showoff your mileage and promote the club too. I'll let you know if this is a go or not after I talk to Mark. :doorag:

So if you have over 5K please post your mileage here so we can get a starting count production wise.

I'm close to 9,000 miles. Very little trouble with my Spyder from the factory. The down time I created was chrome and adding other add on, paint things like that.

19000 plus -- should hit 20000 by the end of the month. Brakes still squeal, runs a little rough at the moment -- doesn't want to run at less than 60 mph ( must have gotten used to 75 on the x-country trip).
Never put in for the 5k pin -- will wait for the 25K.

:ohyea::ohyea: Someone asked me how many miles I had on my bike - so I turned the key on to check - glad I had my camera along! :ohyea::ohyea:
