• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Post here if you have over 5000 miles, not kilometers on your Spyder

No, you fillout the form and send them a picture of your odameter on SpyderRyders. That's how I applied for the pin. Has anyone seen a 25K pin?

I have over 5,000 miles well send photo soon

Did anything ever result from this thread ?

Just curious. I thought Lamont's original post was to develop Spyderlovers mileage pins to complement thr BRP ones. Did anything ever come out ?
If so, I'm unaware of it, but I'm always up for more pins.

We went over 10,000 miles on our way home from Glacier this summer.Spyder Mileage.jpg

Some place in Nebraska. We were racing against some dark clouds but I thought it was worth it to stop for the shot.

what pin

I have over 13000 miles done on mine, I did everything they asked of me at 5000 miles and never got a pin!:( But wife and I enjoyed every mile we have done. Just remember when you see us at Spyderfest to tell us how nice our pin looks.

I have 32,000 something since May 24, 2010...just the other day I ordered my 25K pin...(happened last summer and stopped to take pic)....never ordered the 5k...did not know about it and did not take a pic...but did order the patches from Cat Specialist...10K & 25K

I'm at 17,846 and sent off for both 5,000 and 10,000 and never received anything. But I'll keep :spyder2:ing anyway !

Never knew this was a possiblility. I've got over 5K. I heard that so many people were having trouble getting the BRP mileage pins, that I never sent in for mine. I'd rather a SpyderLovers "something" than BRP any day!

I have almost 14,000k on my 2009gs. Going to CO. in june Zero

:D
UPDATE- I got a note from BRP that they did send my 25K pin out but for whatever reason I never got it, nor did Doc. They also said that they are sending these out every three months. So depending on when you applied for the pin you may get it in a couple of days or you may not see it for three months. That would explain why some have gotten theirs and some haven't.

This pin (if we do it) will be in addition to your BRP mileage pin. :doorag:

I'm going to ask Mark at CAT if he can make me up some SpyderLovers 5K pins. I have no idea on the cost of these and if we can do the 25K pins too but we can send you a 5K pin for every 5K you put on your Spyder. I may have to tie it into a t-shirt sale or something to where if you have over 5K you could request a pin. Maybe give your current mileage when you order from the store. :dontknow:

Anyway that's just a thought on how you can showoff your mileage and promote the club too. I'll let you know if this is a go or not after I talk to Mark. :doorag:

So if you have over 5K please post your mileage here so we can get a starting count production wise.

Well, I've got over 30,000 miles. Did all the required stuff to receive pin from BRP, picture of me with Spyder and the cluster with over 5000 miles. Never got that pin so I never bothered to try for any more. It would be nice to have them but I ain't crushed.:roflblack:
