• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Possible oil leak - where would this be from?

F9BDCCC7-C079-4F11-B359-97CC868CFC6C.jpgI found this yesterday while I was cleaning the bike. This picture is taken from the right side (as your sitting on it) behind the starter. Can any tell me what component the oil looks to be sprayed on (what do these bolts secure)..? I have an appointment to take it in on June 15 for a technician to look at it.
Thanks for any help.

Hard to tell from pic. Any spots on floor where parking? Lay down some cardboard or news paper to check for fresh drips, otherwise looks like misty road gunk of course keep eye on current oil level too.

No oil residue on floor. Oil level is good. Not sure where the oil residue is from ..?? It’s not much … yet.

Either the tie jam nuts were sprayed with penetrating oil or its just the grease weeping out from the boots. Id say its normal...
