I am very close to purchasing a 2014 RT. I have a few questions, does the 1330 have plenty of power with two riders? I plan to take a few trips with my wife and was wondering how it pulls in the mountains? Has anyone encountered any problems with it bottoming out with two riders?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There's more than adequate power for two up in the mountains. With the six speed transmission you can easily get yourself in trouble with your passenger if the hooligan bug bites. If you purchase an RT-S or Limited you can adjust the rear suspension on the fly. On the RT you can tune it yourself but must manually add air to or bleed it off the system.
So far I only have experience on flat roads and gentle hills, but I don't think lack of power will be an issue with the 1330. It seems to have power to spare and I'm coming off a powerful motorcycle. With me at 215 and my wife at around 105 there has been no problem with bottoming out going in or out of driveways, but I'm sure it's possible with a steep transition. I would have no hesitation to head to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado or to Springfield, MO for Spyderfest.

My wife and I are right at the edge of rider capacity and we have ridden in several mountain ranges pulling a fully loaded trailer with no problems at all. You will be fine. You should experience no issues with power on the 1330. I drive mountains all the time. We did a whole summer of two up on the 2010 RT with the 990 rotax and never once thought there was a lack of power.
The 1330 is a vast improvement over the 990.

I'm 6'4" & 295#, and my bride is 5'11" and 185# - we've never had a problem passing whatever we wanted, even at 9.000' with either our 990 RT, or the new 1330 RT.

I've had a 2010, 2012 and now a 2014RT Limited. My significant other and I rode my 2014RT Limited all over the Black Hills of South Dakota last year without any problems. (and going back this year with 3 other Spyder Ryders) I do remember having to shift down a couple of times on some very steep hills but no big deal. the 1330 with 6 speed works great.
