• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at a 2010 RSS Limited with 19k miles. Any known issues I should be looking for?
I've read about the issues with the 2013's which worries me a little. Any info would be great.

Thanks

I have a 2013 and was calling dealers two weeks ago looking for possibly a new 2010 or 11 in the crate. Wishing I still had my trouble free 2010 RS.

Sorry to hear about your 2013 but the fact your 2010 was problem free sounds encouraging.

Only issue I had was the water reservoirs were of a bad design but they fixed the flaw. Had almost 30k on it when traded. For two years I replaced back tire with a car Falken tire, replaced reservoir and replaced exhaust gaskets with Honda parts. Also replaced one headlight. Did everything myself except tire and I m not mechanically inclined. Was a very good bike and felt very comfortable with it.

2012 rss here and virtually trouble free. almost 12,000 miles in a little over a year. wouldn't trade it for a 2013, I can tell you that!nojoke

Great roadsters..!!

just run it by the dealer and have them hook it up the BUDS system to make sure all updates were made and things are good. The onboard computer has all the info..if all checks out then it's outside visuals and your good to go...good luck..!!

What transmission does it have in it? SE-5s can toast clutch plates if you're not careful about keeping the clutches full locked-up...
Other than that; they're a SWEET ride!
