Poor Design

Anyone else had the misfortune to have a rear bulb blow and have a Sportrack fitted? What on earth were the designers thinking about on this one. Definately not a 5 min job.

A real PITA for sure.

Switch to LED's like many have done----and be done with it.

I think if you do a search on the site Groundeffects did a how to on a simple fix for swapping out the rear bulbs .

Hi Guys That is just the mod I was carrying out. Forgot to mention that I also have the V35 bags fitted .
Now all completed and what a time saver !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all that did the experiments with the light units in the first place.

So easy now its completed. ( whats the betting I dont have another bulb blow )

yup.. I did mine like this... Drop the splash pan and cut away.

Thanks for the detailed photos:2thumbs:! ,I will do this mod before I leave for Spyderfest just in case the vibrations from the long drive burn out one of my bulbs.
