• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hola SLWorld....well, after a little over 2ooo miles on my 2014 RT/S, SM6, I am READY for my first farkel....but first, I would like to poll you fine folks to ensure I do it right. I know that my initial upgrades will be for comfort. starting with a backrest. So here is my decision....a Spyder back rest to add to my stock seat... $460

http://store.spyder.brp.com/product/769535/219400358/_/Driver_Backrest_for_Production_Seat

or a barebones ultimate seat...(just the main bottom part with a drive backrest)..$945

My thought is if I'm paying almost $500 for just the backrest, might just want to upgrade the whole thing for double the price...??? Any and all comments welcomed...

FARKELING

I never had an issue with the OEM seat on the 2014 RT.....Sooooooooooooooo I just added a Utopia backrest which is approx. 1/2 the price and 4 X's as adjustable ( the OEM backrest is " 0 " by the way + the Passenger loses more room ).......annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I bought my Utopia on E-bay for $100.00.................Have fun....................Mike

THIS is Definitely an OpTioN...thanks

Just looked at the Utopia website....I'm liking this....thanks a mill:yes::yes::yes:

Since didn't want to cut a hole in my seat, I got a Saddlemen sissy bar bag. The harness goes under the seat and snaps into the D rings on the sides. This way I don't have to remove it to fuel up. It sits backwards on the passenger seat.

This is from their website so you should be able to get one for less online? It has a built in rain cover and holds lots of stuff.

My opinion, go with the Ultimate seat & backrest.
I spent the $500 for the BRP backrest and after a month decided that both the seat & backrest weren't doing it for me and upgraded to the Ultimate seat w/backrest and couldn't be happier with the comfort.

You seem to be discussing just seats and/or backrests right now...
Is the "Southern End, of a Northbound You",;telling you that this is what you need?

Don't forget that the tri axis handle bars can help that back and riding position also. of course I ogt the backrest and the tri axis all at the same time.
