• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Polished Foot Guards - anybody try it?

One thing I really don't care for on my RS is the silver Foot guard bracket thingy's right above the foot pegs. Im dying to A) Either paint or powder coat them or B) sand and polish them up. Thinking that paint my not hold up well to shoes beating/rubbing against them all the time. Power coat would be much better of course. Then I thought it might be cool to sand/smooth and Polish them up. So has anybody tried this at all? kinda looks like a cast piece so that would kinda through a wrench in my polish plans but am dying to hit them with a grinder and see whats under that silver paint and if I can polish them up to a mirror finish or not.

i think u can

Joespy stripped and polished his or her wheels, and they looked GOOD. i imagine the footpeg brackets could be done the same way. if you do it, please post some pics:thumbup: to my knowledge no one has done it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet.

Have seen..!!

several posts where they have powder coated and color matched..look very nice. I have wondered about cutting them off...!!:dontknow:
