Polaris Slingshot

Is anyone else getting the teaser email from Polaris? I'm not sure how I got on their list, but got what appears to be the second of four emails touting the release of the Polaris Slingshot. The URL indicates they think it is a reverse trike, Two short, one 10 and one 15 second, videos are currently showing, no actual pictures of the machine, and it looks like the driver is sitting down close to the ground, In my estimation, that would make it a three wheel sports car not a motorcycle.

As I posted in another thread; that depends upon the specific state laws.

Here in Oregon, a 3-wheeler is a motorcycle.

We have seen the "teaser" video on here about a week ago. I also got a "teaser" card. ???


We will have to see what happens. We had a bunch of discussion points and speculation.

I am not planning on owning the first to hit Alaska. :yes:

you can google it and see pictures blueprints etc..competition for the T-Rex, Morgan and Elio...not the Spyder...!! :thumbup:

My spyder dealer sells polaris atv's. I sort of doubt BRP will let him sell the polaris slingshot, if he wants to continue selling spyders. That's because the slingshot is competition. However, he does sell both can am and polaris atv's.
