Polaris Slingshot on the ice

This past weekend Polaris had a demo of a specially equipped Slingshot on the ice. They had studded tires and were giving rides on the lake. Every year The University of Okoboji Winter games are held and thousands of people come to the Iowa Great Lakes to participate. So Polaris took advantage and set up a Slingshot to run on the lake. Here is a video of the Slingshot on the ice.

Those are some serious studs in the tires. Looks like fun.

No they did not really give it a run. The course did not have any long straights. The one driver told me it took a bit of a technique to get going from a stop, because of the studs in the tires.
