• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been out of S L for awhile! The selling and closing of the house, the packing, searching for a mover, all of that really takes a toll on you! But thank God that is over! I've made the move to the sunshine state and so far it's been beautiful! Waiting for the spyder to get here and then is riding time!

Happy for you!! I have been out shoveling snow for the 5th time in the last two weeks, that interspersed with below zero temps.

You aren't missing much from the north, so enjoy it immensely and remember to wear gloves in the summer when getting back into the car and grabbing the steering wheel lol.

I live about as far west of Orlando as your new home is north. Contrary to the general opinion of Florida, there are hills down the center of the Florida peninsula and lots of twisting and winding roads. I hope that you enjoy Central Florida riding as much as I do. One word of warning. This is considered the lightening capital of the U.S. Be careful in lightening storms. Come summertime there is a lot during the storm. DON'T SEEK SHELTER UNDER A TREE. Get out of the lightening area.

Welcome. ..

To Florida...lived there 3 times...and to the site. I have move so many times and know just how it is.:yikes: But soon you will have the spyder and the open road waiting for you...:ohyea:

Welcome to Florida

You will love this area for riding. Try Mt. Dora and up thru that area. Also it is a great ride to Daytona Beach.

Congrats. I love Lake Mary FL!!! My parents lived there a few years back and we loved visiting. If you get a chance checkout Toojays for breakfast. They have an awesome spinach and feta omelet.

I am a retired Pastor also
Live in Tavares, this is our third winter. So welcome & enjoy!
Be aware if you get a boat the Spyder WI be lonely on some days!

CONGRATULATIONS

I am very happy for your move,.

I have wanted to do that for a long time, the supervisor said not yet, first because she is still working (healthcare benefits) then "what about the grandkids, etc. :banghead:. :shemademe_smilie:

oh well, this gives me a chance to dismantle the bike in the garage, fix little stuff, clean under the covers and do it all at my leisure without losing Ryde time. :helpsmilie::cheers:
