• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Please critique my video

i think you did a great job on it. what drone were you using. i bought a DJI drone, and the first flight i did, it ran into a tree, and has been being fixed for 3 weeks now.

The purpose of marketing is to engage the attention of the prospective customers and move them toward a purchase decision. This does not do that in my opinion.

What is the end purpose of the video? You need to have a clear single easy to understand goal for it. The viewer doesn't need to know what it is, but when they are finished watching it you want them to walk away with some clear thought in their mind. How is the video going to be used, in TV ads? If so, keep it to no more than 30 seconds. Consider taking a real close view of some part of the Ryker, which when viewed really close up, is puzzling. Then back off, explaining what the Ryker is, and why the viewer wants one. You don't always need a 360. Make it a mysterious machine, not just another motorcycle variant.

Do something dramatic to grab attention. Maybe something like have it perched on the edge of steep hill, and say something like, "This is too steep for even a Ryker! But here is what it will do!" Focus on one or two key features and end it. Grab attention, emphasize one or two features, and quit. Avoid information overload. Jolt the viewer to attention, don't put them to sleep!

I've edited many videos. Not a professional, but have learned a lot.
1. wrong time of day. The scene is fine, but it should be at sunset/sunrise.
2. slow motion of wheels spinning, riding, cool guy with a girl making a look as it goes by, etc.
3. your edits need to be in tune with the beat of the music. They are not.
4. no more than 10-15 seconds of the same thing. It's ok to be 2 minutes, but should be in many locations: highway, woods, beach, kickin' at the trendy bar, tunnel, night, etc.

Good job though! I know how hard this can be! :)

I don't think it really conveys what you're trying to market. Maybe I just don't get it.

Thanks for all of the replys and inputs. It is greatly appreciated. It was/is just a test video that the owner and I are brainstorming on. The intent is to do a product video (not a dealership video..which I'm also working on) that focuses on just one product at a time. We will be producing videos with better locations, riding, commentary, etc., but we are waiting for the nicer weather to come. This video is certainly not the finished product and will not be used for the actual marketing of the Ryker. The location is certainly subjective. Some like it and some do not. The dealer actually liked it, but I will scout for better locations come Spring. I have tweaked the video a little with what roll I have. Pretty much the same thing with some changes. Please take a look at it and foregoing the location, length and the fact that its only one product, please let me know if I'm at least on the right track.
