• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had the opportunity to go to Nova Scotia in October of 1997. I was in a cage at the time. We drove from Wisconsin through the provinces to Nova Scotia and took the ferry back from NS to Maine.

We used bed and breakfasts at the time but the information on that stuff is way outdated as I have not had the opportunity to go back.

I would divide NS into western/eastern sections. The western section will give you the Bay of Funday, Acadia (someone will correct me if I got the name wrong) National Park--where the Acadians (cajuns) lived before they were forced to leave Canada and moved to Louisana. I also recommend visiting Peggy's Cove--an absoulutely charming seaside town. The main road skirts the western side of the island but does not run along the ocean. To get to the ocean you may have to drive a side road for five to 10 miles in a lot of places.

Capitol city of Halifax is nice. The Eastern part covers Cape Breton area and you get beautiful seaside views. They tell me it is reminiscent of the British Iles.

A good travel book will provide you with up to date information. You will enjoy the trip. We encountered some very nice people in the time we were there.
