• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

back to the 'shield...

I am really interested in a better shield. Nothing has come out yet that any two or three people feel the same way. I would rather not have to clean off my face (shield) very 100 miles (living in Ag. country) and the cotton moths will be out soon...
Good luck on your ride, let us know how the shield works out.

Hey Lamonster,
Maybe we should set up a meet with the SoCal Spyders while you're in town.

Any thoughts on that?
Sorry but I missed this post. :opps:
That would be great if we can make it work. I'll be in the San Diego area. Where are you?

hey CoSpyder I will ride with ya...hit me back with a private message. I am gonna do some shorts rides this weekend.

I'm in Orange County, you know between LA and SD county. Maybe a Julian :spyder: ride/meet would be in order. When do you plan on being in the SD area?

That would be great, I planned on getting some apple pie there anyway.:2thumbs::doorag:

Oh - why not make it official? IBA needs more Spyders!

Does that mean we already have an Iron Butt Spyder?? ..

If not then you got to do it Lamont. If not for you - for us loyal SpyderLovers!!

* First Iron Butt Spyder ... BRP would love that!!
* First Iron Butter(?) pulling a Bushtec ... Bushtec would love that
* First Iron Butter from a Spyder forum ... SpyderLovers.com
* First Spyder with an IBA sticker!!

The latest IBA list shows a BBG and a 50CC on a Spyder, both by the same rider, done in March 2008.

Hey Lamonster , I'm sure you can do it ... I did it on the way home from Quebec without any problems ! ryde safe and good luck !!!

I think 1000 / 24 on the Spyder would be a cake-walk.

On the way home from the Iron Butt Dinner Party in JAX in March I did about 800 in one day, and it was pretty cold, around 40F. Even with my Gerbing that was a bit uncomfortable by the end of the day.

Take your time and stay hydrated!

Stuart
