• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pie is definitely not on the diabetic diet,...

Scotty, Scotty, Scotty... ;)

After forty-eight years of Type I diabetes; I'm not giving up pie! The Sawbones can yell at me anytime he wants; all he wants... :2thumbs:

Just behave yourself a bit better the rest of the time, and nobody will tell on you!

Does this mean I don't get Scotty's piece? :(

I'm not going on the Pie Run either because of Type 2 Diabetes. Don't have insulin shots to make up for indulgences.

Would rather miss out on one event and enjoy the rest.

Like your A1C doesn't tell on you. Dream on..... :)

Like Yazz, I have survived all these years without medication because I behave. I'm not changing now. BTW, you never mentioned a solution to the problem that the pie run is after my bedtime. :roflblack:

66 replies in a day:clap: I can see us Spyderlovers love pie almost as much as riding. Looking forward to the pie run again this year

Pie Run

Count me in also. Last year the pie was great and so was the ryde. Can't wait for the fun to begin.

One of the coolest events of last year, cruising the back road at night with all those lit up Spyders. Count me in if I'm there!

A1c over the last six months: 6.5 & 6.6.
It comes down to quality of life versus ultimate quantity of it. I kept the A1cs below six for years; it was just too worrisome walking that close to the edge of hypoglycemic episodes every day...
You poor guys who've developed Type II diabetes don't have the tools for dealing with "unauthorized" snacking... I'm on an insuline pump with a blood glucose montior tapped into it for monitoring just what happens when my teeth and belly start running a marathon... (Medtronic 723)
Bedtime... you'll sleep better with a full belly!

As long as there's no evidence of what was consumed... or by whom!

The bible says '... be sure your sin will find you out'. When you eat too much pie it gets hard to hide!
